Yan Simon is a singer-songwriter, actor, and published recording artist.

A classically trained pianist and a theatre kid at heart, Yan writes, records, executive-produces, and releases music that ranges from synth-driven electropop to heartfelt piano ballads. With his signature eye makeup and rich baritone, Yan is celebrated for his theatrical live-performance style, which has been compared to that of Freddie Mercury, Lady Gaga, and Elton John.

Since embarking on his journey as a solo recording artist in 2020, Yan has released an original album, two EPs, multiple singles and music videos, has received radio airplay in Toronto and Vancouver, and has independently landed a sync-licensing deal for a BellTV series with his song “Marathon”.

Yan continues to write and record original music in parallel to acting. He is currently working on his next album, as well as writing an original musical.
